@jamesravey A ridge tile blew off our roof and smashed five other tiles. Not experienced that before! Reminds me of the storm in 1987 which blew brick walls down.
@underlap sorry to hear about your roof! So far - touch wood- the house is in tact although I went out and weighed down the bins with bricks just in time to narrowly avoid a clobbering from an airbourne fence panel! I'm just a couple of years shy of having experienced the 87 storm so Eunice is probably the worst UK storm in my lifetime!
